Check / Cancel Button

The Check / Cancel button toggles between a Check button and a Cancel button.

Initially, the button is set to Cancel. When a number is entered in Add Fields box, the button's text changes to display Check.

When clicked, and the button displays Check, all lines of the input file are checked for compliance with your chosen output settings.

If the check succeeds:

The Output Top area is displayed.
The OK button is enabled.

If the check fails:

The reason for the failure is indicated.
The Output Top area is not displayed.
The OK button is disabled.

In either case, success or failure, the button's text changes and displays Cancel.

When clicked, and the button displays Cancel, the Add Fields tool is reset.
